Manitoba Showcase is an annual conference featuring first-rate emerging and established Canadian visual and performing artists. Exhibiting talent from a wide range of genres, the showcase performances and the conference activities provide Manitoba presenters and galleries with quality choices for future opportunities and collaboration. The preeminent event of its kind in Manitoba, Showcase engages over 150 artists, presenters, agents, managers, and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas and develop and rekindle relationships. What Our Showcase Artists are Saying!
There is so much opportunity here! We can see each other face to face and have important conversations. So much knowledge is shared and everyone is so generous. Manitoba Arts Network has created a deep sense of community. Without this showcase, we wouldn’t gather or share.
Having the opportunity to see so many great performances in one weekend, and then to get the opportunity to share these amazing performances with our community and see the audience share in the enjoyment of amazing music.
The opportunity to meet and speak with others who have the same position as you – helps you to create new opportunities or change the way you do things based of others successes/failures.
This being our first Showcase, my colleagues and I were thrilled to discover that we are not alone in Manitoba doing our best to support and promote the Arts through live music and community events. The ability to network, see many great artists and get one-on-one time with many experts was tremendously valuable to us.
